We collect what's needed to make Voyaging Vibe work, understand how it's used, and improve the experience. We don't serve ads or sell your personal data.

What we collect

• Your trips and taste tests, including the information you add, so we can save them and provide the planner's features.
• Your email address, if you create an account. We use it to manage sign-in and, if you opt in, send trip reminders and other updates. You can unsubscribe from optional emails or change your preferences in Account & Settings.
• Usage analytics, to understand how people interact with the planner and improve it. Where possible, this information is associated with a random identifier rather than your name.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account ID with us. We use your email address and account ID to create your account and sign you in. Your name and picture are stored with your account by our sign-in provider, but Voyaging Vibe doesn't use them. We don't access anything else in your Google account, and we don't sell this information, share it with others, or use it for advertising. You can remove Voyaging Vibe's access at any time in your Google Account's security settings, and ask us to delete your account and its data using the contact details below.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve Voyaging Vibe, provide requested features, protect the service, and respond to requests.

We use submitted trip content to provide the service's features. We use usage analytics to understand how the planner is used. We don't use private trip content to train AI models unless we separately explain that practice and obtain any consent required by law.

Cookies and service providers

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use them for advertising.

We rely on third-party providers to operate Voyaging Vibe, including services for hosting, data storage, maps, photos, and AI-generated suggestions. These providers may process information needed to deliver their services. The information shared depends on the feature being used and the provider involved.

Usage analytics

We use usage analytics to understand how people interact with the planner. We aim to limit collection to what's reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve Voyaging Vibe. Essential operational logs and data collected independently by third-party services may also be kept.

Sharing and public content

If you share a trip using a link, people who have that link may be able to view or copy the trip. Avoid including information you want to keep private.

We don't sell your personal data. We may disclose information to service providers helping us operate Voyaging Vibe, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, our users, or our rights.

Your choices and data requests

You can unsubscribe from optional emails at any time.

You can contact us to request access to or deletion of your personal data. We'll handle requests in accordance with applicable law. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, or legitimate operational purposes.

We may update this policy as Voyaging Vibe changes. We'll publish the revised version on this page and update the date above.
